Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS)

The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) offers support to children, young people and their families who are coping with behavioural and emotional difficulties such as anxiety and depression, eating disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity (ADHD), self harm and behavioural difficulties.

Since April 2008 the department based at St. Peter’s has operated across the boroughs of Woking and Runnymede in North West Surrey and offers an equitable service to children and adolescents with mental health difficulties.

If you feel you or a young person in your family is affected by any of these difficulties and would like to see a member of the CAMHS team you should ask your G.P. to make a referral to the service.

Contact the Service

The department is part of Surrey and Borders NHS Partnership Trust and will in the near future be moving off the St Peters Hospital site. In the meantime should you have any queries please contact 01932 722561.

The service is managed by Sarah Tomkins, who can be contacted on the above number.
